Job Responsibilities
Safely collect residential waste and recycle blue boxes. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Adhere to safe work practices. Deliver waste and recycling materials to processing facilities. Maintain effective communication with the Route Supervisor and customers. Provide professional collection services, upholding a positive company image.
Requirements for Waste Collection and Recycling Collection Truck Driver-Visa sponsored
Must be at least 21 years old. Hold a valid Class G Ontario driver’s license for a minimum of one year with a clean driving abstract. Capable of passing the MTO medical test and written driver’s test. Provide documentation of at least a Grade 11 education or higher. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Possess strong interpersonal skills for effective customer and co-worker relationships. Committed to the position, training, and the minimum agreed-upon retention period of 3 years. Able to recognize vehicle maintenance needs. Punctual, dependable, and a team player.
