Award
The 2024 masters Degree Scholarship is fully funded. It stays entirely throughout the duration of your course of study. You are to specify the duration of your course of study during your 2024 masters Degree Scholarship application

Eligibility
- Your degree should not be more than 6 years old as at the time of your scholarship application.
- You must have applied for admission to a German host university for your desired course of study on time.
- You are expected to submit your admission to a German host university as at the time of your scholarship application. Note: Scholarship confirmation from DAAD is effective if you are admitted to the hos university named in your application.
- You are not eligible to apply if you have already been in German for more than 15 months by the application deadline.
- Provide prove of level of language proficiency( English or German) for desired course of study.
- If the language of instruction is German, the following certificate is required TestDAF, DSH German language diploma from the Conference of masters of education and cultural Affairs, Goethe certification, Australia language as well as TELC German and OnSET German
If language of instruction is English, an evidence of the following is required
- Cambridge English
- Cambridge Business
- IELTS, ISE, TOEFL IBT, TOEFL Essentials, TOEIC as PTE Academic and OnSET English.

How to apply for the 2024 masters Degree Scholarship
All necessary documents are uploaded to the DAAD portals.
- Online Application form
- Letter of Motivation describing the professional and personal motives for the planned study project in Germany
- Your admission letter from your host university in Germany. Note: If you do not have your admission letter when applying you must submit it by the time the scholarship starts.
- Current grades/transcript of records should be uploaded under the University Certificate
- Graduate Certificate
- Proof of language proficiency/skills in the language of the desired course.
- A current supportive letter of recommendation
- Any important documents such as proof of internship, Certificate of extracurricular commitment
- Proof of University entrance qualification
- School leaving Certificate with grades
